Bulqia is a male feminist and a youth activist. Bulqia has had hearing impairment ever since he was born fifteen years ago. He is currently a student  at Special Education School in the city of Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara. Civil Society Movement for the Elimination of Child Marriage Affirms that Aisha Wedding’s Child Marriage is a Crime Against Children and Women

Recently, flyers, websites and social media accounts from Aisha Weddings, a wedding organizer, have been circulating which advertises marriage services that promote the marriage of children who are as young as 12 years old, as well as displayed photos of young girls. In response, the Civil Society Movement for the Elimination of Child Marriage held a press conference on Thursday (11/2) and issued a statement that the promotion of child marriage is a crime against children and women and is an act that violates Indonesian law. Melalui proyek Yes I Do, 32 Perkawinan Anak berhasil digagalkan di Sukabumi, Rembang, dan Lombok Barat

Jakarta, 15 Oktober 2020 – Lewat Yes I Do, Plan International Indonesia (Plan Indonesia) telah berhasil menggagalkan 32 kasus perkawinan anak di tiga Kabupaten yakni Sukabumi, Kabupaten Lombok Barat, dan Kabupaten Rembang. Jumlah kasus ini merupakan 24 persen dari total 168 kasus kekerasan pada anak yang berhasil dilaporkan ke Kelompok Perlindungan Anak Desa (KPAD). Lembata, 13 Juli 2020 – Yayasan Plan International Indonesia (Plan Indonesia) menyumbangkan ribuan alat kebersihan dan perlengkapan sekolah kepada anak dan siswa didik dimulai pada Senin (13/7) hingga satu bulan ke depan di kabupaten Lembata, Nusa Tenggara Timur.  Pembagian paket perlengkapan manajemen kebersihan menstruasi (MKM) bagi 4.059 anak-anak berusia 10 hingga 18 tahun, serta 4.406 paket perlengkapan sekolah untuk anak-anak.
