Buku Foto Yes I Do – Memupuk Asa Melawan Perkawinan Anak

Sejak 2016, Plan Indonesia melalui proyek Yes I Do berupaya mencegah praktik perkawinan usia anak, kehamilan remaja, dan sunat perempuan, terutama di Kabupaten Sukabumi, Kabupaten Rembang, dan Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Lebih dari itu, kami mendorong anak dan kaum muda perempuan serta lakilaki untuk lebih berdaya dan mampu untuk bernegosiasi dan memutuskan kapan dan dengan siapa mereka akan menikah dan memiliki anak. Yes I Do Photobook – Nurturing Hopes, Fighting Against Child Marriage

Since 2016, Plan Indonesia, through the Yes I Do project, has tried to prevent the practice of child marriage, teenage pregnancy and female circumcision, particularly in the districts of Sukabumi, Rembang and West Lombok. She is currently the Coordinator of PERSANI (Persatuan Tuna Daksa Kristiani/Christian Disability Society) in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. For years, she has been the voice for people with disabilities in many sectors. Civil Society Movement for the Elimination of Child Marriage Affirms that Aisha Wedding’s Child Marriage is a Crime Against Children and Women

Recently, flyers, websites and social media accounts from Aisha Weddings, a wedding organizer, have been circulating which advertises marriage services that promote the marriage of children who are as young as 12 years old, as well as displayed photos of young girls. In response, the Civil Society Movement for the Elimination of Child Marriage held a press conference on Thursday (11/2) and issued a statement that the promotion of child marriage is a crime against children and women and is an act that violates Indonesian law. The statement of principle has received public support from at least 128 institutions and 305 individuals in less than 18 hours. Plan Indonesia Involving Youth from Mataram and North Lombok to Reduce Child Marriage and Teenage Pregnancy Rates

Plan Indonesia launched Let’s Talk program in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) including Mataram from Tuesday (26/1) and in North Lombok from Thursday (28/1) to address the limited access to sexual and reproductive health information and facilities leads to child marriage and teenage pregnancy. More than two thousands cases of pregnancy in teenagers aged between 15-19 years old were recorded in Mataram and North Lombok in 2018-2019.
