Fasli Jalal was the Deputy Minister of Education for the period of 2010 to 2011. After that he was appointed to lead the National Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) in 2013. He has also written and edited several books and scientific articles. One of his work include the Strategy to Eradicate Poverty Based on Capacity Building for the Poor Families.

Fasli is now involved and became one of the initiators of Kawal Pendidikan (Supervise Education), a civil movement that focuses in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. He has received Work of Excellence Award from the World Bank in 2011, as well as Satyalancana Wira Karya and Satyalancana Wira Setia Award from the Indonesian government in 1996 and 1997.

Retired from ADB in May 2014 after over 18 years of service. In his final assignment, he spearheaded ADB’s re-engagement with the Gov. of Myanmar, as its first representative and established ADB’s first resident mission in Myanmar. Prior to Myanmar, he served as ADB’s Country Director in Cambodia and Deputy Country Director in both Vietnam and Bangladesh. His prior assignments include formulating and monitoring implementation of ADB's country strategies and assistance programs in Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. He served in other departments in ADB HQ in Manila, in institutional procurement and administrative services, and internal departmental budget and personnel management. Before joining ADB, he served 9 years in the UNDP both the Bangladesh and Indonesia field offices, and in the New York headquarters with responsibilities from planning and implementing technical assistance in regional cooperation, transport and energy infrastructure, urban development and governance sectors, to program monitoring and heading the finance and administration section of one of UNDP’s largest field offices. After 5 years’ professional experience as an architect in the United States, he returned to Indonesia in 1982 where he was engaged in planning a new city on an island adjacent to Singapore, improving management practices in a well-established national architecture and engineering consulting firm. Since retirement, he has undertaken brief consultancy assignments as an adviser to a local real estate developer based in Mandalay, Myanmar in mid- to late-2014 and in 2016 as team leader/regional cooperation specialist for an ADB-financed technical assistance project to prepare a complex, MFF project in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China. Since March 2019, he has been engaged as team leader of consultants preparing an ADB project proposal for PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) to establish a green financing mechanism to catalyze private sector resources to help meet Indonesia’s sustainable infrastructure investment needs and its commitments to the SDGs and Paris Agreement on Climate Change (COP21).

Gusti Kanjeng Ratu Mangkubumi (later known as Gusti Kanjeng Ratu Pembayun) is the first child and daughter of Sultan Hamengkubuwono X of Yogyakarta and his consort, Queen Hemas. On 5 May 2015 she was proclaimed Crown Princess by her father.

She is an activist in social work especially in conservation and youth movement education. Apart from being involved in various social activities, Princess Mangkubumi serves in some position in few corporate sectors.

Recently, GKR Mangkubumi received the honorable doctoral degree in Human Letters from Northern Illinois University.

Bhagyashri leads the Global Hub in the Asia Pacific Region and the new global function of Policy and Practice. Bhagyashri has driven forward transformation within the region, redefining its value proposition and strategy.

Bhagyashri loves Plan International. She has been associated with Plan International for more than 30 years. Before taking up her current role, Bhagyashri was the Executive Director of Plan India, a position she has held since 2004. She significantly grew Plan India’s reach, scale and impact on girls. Before joining Plan India, she steered a National-level advocacy initiative that included more than 500 organisations and an active network of young people from across India to successfully influence the national health policy to have youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health and rights services.

Bhagyashri started her career as a social worker for the Community Aid and Sponsorship Programme (CASP), working in some of the most underprivileged communities in Delhi’s largest slums. She became the joint Executive Director of CASP before joining Plan International.

Dr Kus is a medical doctor specialising in Anatomical/Surgical Pathology. She has about 40 years of diverse work experience with multilateral agencies, governments, NGOs, and the private sector. For 15 years, until she retired at 60, she was an international staff at Asian Development Bank (ADB) Headquarters in Manila as Health Specialist, NGO Specialist, and Principal Evaluation Specialist. After post-retirement, she became an international consultant and is currently evaluating Technical Assistance projects for One-Health Interventions in Asia and the Pacific. She is also one of the founders of the South East Asia (SEA) Junction. Before working in ADB, she was (i) a Medical Doctor/Pathologist as Head of the Immunopathology Division in Gatot Subroto Central Army Hospital; (ii) Executive Director of the Indonesian Planned Parenthood Association; (iii) Vice-Chair of the Indonesian-Canadian Forum of NGOs; (iv) Advisor to ministries and institutions in various countries for Health, population programs, poverty reduction, social protection, and nutrition; (v) Coordinator of Special Projects at ICOMP in Kuala Lumpur to enhance the quality of Primary Health Care in developing countries; (vi) Consultant to the World Bank on human resource development and reform of the Indonesian Ministry of Health; (vii) Consultant to IPPF on Reproductive Health and Women in Development in Viet Nam; (viii) Advisor to Hellen Keller International and Marie Stoppes Foundation; and others.

Ajay Kaul boasts a stellar 35-year corporate career, contributing significantly to renowned companies such as American Express, Lufthansa, TNT and Jubilant FoodWorks (operating Domino’s Pizza and Dunkin’ Donuts in India). Holding a Bachelor of Technology from IIT Delhi and an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur.

His tenure at Jubilant FoodWorks as a CEO, witnessed monumental growth, transforming Domino’s Pizza into INDIA’S LARGEST AND FASTEST-GROWING FOOD SERVICE COMPANY, boasting a staggering expansion from 90 to 1100 restaurants under his leadership from 2005 to 2017. This feat solidified India's status as the LARGEST MARKET FOR DOMINO’S PIZZA, India became Domino’s SECOND LARGEST MARKET IN THE WORLD after the United States, while The Jubilant IPO was rated as the IPO of the decade (2010-2020) by Economic Times, earning Ajay the reputation as a pioneer in India's pizza industry.

Currently, Ajay serves in advisory capacities for Everstone Capital, Domino’s Pizza Indonesia, Burger King India, Burger King Indonesia, Boston Consultancy Group, Chaayos, California Burrito, Chinese Wok & Daalchini, among others, both in India and internationally. His passion for fostering entrepreneurship is evident through his decade-long mentorship of startups, both independently and through the Indian Angel Network.

In addition to his corporate endeavors, Ajay's commitment to social causes is exemplified by his roles on the Board of Plan international India and as a Founder of the Aashrey Charitable Trust. He also contributes to leadership development as part of the Isha Leadership Academy, mentoring CEOs for higher impact.

Nita Ruslim has a long extensive career as Auditor. She joined PwC Indonesia in September 1991 as a Junior Auditor. During 1993 to 1995, she was seconded to PwC Australia, Sydney Office, as a Senior Auditor. Her main role was to plan, supervise, and execute audits of the financial statements in accordance with the applicable auditing and accounting standards in the respective countries.

Upon her return to PwC Indonesia in 1995, Nita assumed the role of an Audit Assistant Manager and in 2005 was admitted as Partner until early retirement at the end of August 2020.

Nina Sarjunani has been a human resources development planner professional, dedicated to working in the National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS) with more than 30 years of experience formulating annual, 5 years and 20 years government policies and programs’ planning to develop quality and productive human resources inclusively with affirmative policies for women, girls, the poor and disabled.

She was the Deputy Minister of Human Resources for almost 9 years (January 2007- October 2015) when she managed coordinating the line ministries and government agencies as her counterparts with her strong and strategic leadership and management to ensure that all human resources development policies and programs are implemented in accordance to the national plan.

In carrying out her role as a Deputy Minister she also engaged with bilateral and multilateral development partners, academics, and NGOs to ensure strategic collaboration in uplifting the quality of Indonesian human resources as well as the focal point of gender empowerment, child right and population issues who annually reports to the UN on the status of children and mothers, women empowerment and gender mainstreaming and family planning including teenage pregnancies.

She was also the National Executive Secretary of MDGs and directly responsible for attaining MDGs targets in 2015. In 2011 until 2016 the Secretary General of the UN appointed her directly as one of the 25 members of Scaling Up Nutrition Movement Lead Group to coordinate 55 countries engaged in the global movement to accelerate the reduction of stunting prevalence and introduce the multisectoral intervention of the First One Thousand Days of Life to prevent stunting of under five children.

Since 2016-2021, Nina Sarjunani was also a National Expert Coordinator of National SDGs Secretariate instructed by our President to house in Bappenas, with her passion, leadership and agile management she facilitated the establishment of the National Secretariate, coordinated with all relevant government ministries and agencies, all local government, universities with their SDGs Centers, NGOs and private sector to inclusively mainstreamed SDGs in their plan and nurture the sustainable engagement of NGOs, private sector including financial sector, to inclusively  attain all targets of SDGs in 2030.

With her long-standing experiences as national development planner and her passion on human resources development, in 2022 she assisted Bappenas to formulate long term plan of productive human resources transformation as foundation to become one of the high-income countries when Indonesia celebrates 100 years of the independence in 2045.

She has been engaged with numerous organisations among others as board member of National Science Fund of the Indonesian Academy of Sciences since 2016, Indonesian Demographer Association (2014-2017), Indonesian Nutritionist Association (2014-2019), Research and Advocacy Center for Child Protection and Wellbeing University of Indonesia (2018-2021) and one of the founders of Indonesian Nutrition Institute and Indonesian Coalition for Fortification.

She is also an analyst, writer and main editor of numerous reports on education, gender, nutrition including stunting of under-five children, early child development, MDGs, and SDGs. She earned her Master Degree in Sociology from Duke University, USA and attended various leadership and management courses in the USA, Australia, Thailand, the Netherlands, Germany, and Singapore.

Benita Sashia Jayanti has experience working in various national and international organizations and companies in Indonesia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, such as The United States Indonesia Society, Results UK, Oxfam Great Britain, Save the Children, and CARE Indonesia. Benita earned her Bachelor of Social Science (B.Soc.Sci) in International Relations from Diponegoro University and received a full scholarship from the Government of Indonesia (LPDP) to continue her Master of Science (MSc) in International Development: Politics, Governance, and Development Policy from The University of Manchester.

An outcome-based professional, Benita has more than 5 years of experience working in international cooperation and management of national and international development programs in Indonesia. Her specializations and focus include political and economic cooperation, sustainable development cooperation, climate change adaptation, coastal resilience and climate migration, infrastructure and sustainable investment, and gender equality and social inclusion (GEDSI).

From this experience, Benita often gets invitations as a speaker at universities or international forums such as at the Center for Strategic and Global Studies (CSGS), University of Indonesia. Recently, Benita has also become a mentor for an Australian student exchange program in Indonesia (The Australian Consortium for In-Country Indonesian Studies) who is studying development issues, especially climate change and its socio-economic impact on communities in Indonesia.

Outside of work, Benita enjoys swimming, traveling to cities in Indonesia and other countries for culinary and cultural tours, and brisk walking, which she does almost every day for 30 minutes after work.
